Believed to be the first of its kind in the construction products sector, a new tool for reliably and consistently measuring the carbon footprint of asphalt materials has been developed as part of a TRL research programme funded by the Refined Bitumen Association (RBA), the Mineral Products Association (MPA), and the Highways Agency (HA).
